We live to tell God's "Amazing Grace"
There's nothing more fulfilling than doing what God wants us to do, to continue on finding out on what else you can do in life in service to others, and to use your gifts.

My Alex
One of the things that had really keep me from doing the things that I am suppose to be doing lately is this cutie Alexandrine Parakeet that we call Alex. A very good friend asked us (my husband and I) if we want a parakeet. They had three birds and they can not give all the attention each birds needed, so they decided to give him away. We went to their house to see the parakeet, he stayed on my husband's shoulder shortly, he stayed on mine, too... he seemed observing us... and we instantly fell in love with him.
We have him for almost two months now. The arrangement was to give him a try with us, and if it won't work, we can give him back to them. So far, the words that he can say are; "COCO", it's when he wants something, "Kiss-Kiss", it's when he wants some kisses, which lasted an hour or more if you don't interrupt him, and "What's up-What's up" very softly almost like a whisper. He already learned these words when he was still with his previous owner. Nothing new since we have him. We tried to teach him some new words, but my husband said he's probably working on it, because my husband always overheard him mumbling something. He is very good at mimicking something else though, something that he hears around.
He is very demanding on attention. He always wants both of us to be in the same room that he is. He likes to be on my shoulder when I am working in our kitchen. He likes eating with us on our dining table. He likes to eat. He likes to dunk his dry food on the water. Lately, I started taking him with me to shower, while he is on my shoulder, the water fell on my head he got some, too. He seems to like it very much.
We love him dearly. We give him what we think he needs and is good for him. We hope to be able to give him the attention that he needs, and I hope that he will start learning new words and will become and stay physically, emotionally and socially healthy.

GE Photos by Grace Elliott
I am so sorry that it took me over a month to post here again. I was so caught up with a lot of things; NEW BUSINESS, FIRST EVER PET, and THE HOLIDAY SEASON AT WORK (being a cashier at WalMart). Well, lately they put me on late morning to early night shift, that left me not much time and energy to do something else that I wanted to do at the end of my shift... I even neglected lately my gardening and keeping the house in order. It will become more intense as the Christmas day comes closer... finalizing gifts... going to parties... and preparing for my personal Christmas day. Times like this, I always ended up sick in the past years; cold, cough and fatigue. That is why this time, I don't want it to happen again. I carefully consider first any events or activities to participate, so I can fully enjoy the season of Christmas, and can fully be grateful to the true meaning of Christmas.
I wanted to launch my business on January, but I was thinking and hoping that Christmas time is when people may want to order my product as gifts to their love-ones.
Finally, here is the business that I was talking about on my previous post. I call it GE Photos by Grace Elliott. Here is the link on my Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/GE-Photos-by-Grace-Elliott-169903000025693/

I took all the photos myself, turned them into black and white using apps, and watermarked them. The photos size are 4x6. Frames are by orders, and mostly from Amazon.
If you are interested on this product for somebody or even just for yourself, send me message and I will try to reach to you and we will discuss about it.
Thank you very much, and may God bless all of you.

I Will Be Launching My Micro-Business/Hobby Soon!
My mother was my first handicraft teacher. She made dresses for my doll when I was 4 years old. She taught me how to be busy and productive with my own hands. She was a micro-business minded person, too. She taught me to sell snack items in my classroom when I was only 9 years old. I started my very first handicraft business when I was 10 years old. It was fashion earrings out of pins, beads and buttons... with cut out rubber as a lock behind ears. Later on, I made hairclips, headbands, bracelets... ready-to-wear clothing line... handmade greeting cards... and more. Some of them made it to the mall... and some of them made it overseas. I made pretty much good money out of them... and at the same time, it was fun for me doing them. In other words, they were "money-making hobbies".
I am so excited to announce that on next week, I will be launching my very first micro-business/hobby here in USA. And here's a head up, I will be politely asking appointment with you to present to you my works. :-)
Twenty years ago, God gave me this Bible verse;
"The Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness." Deuteronomy 2:7 NIV
... as a promise that He will bless the works of my hands... and this is the reason, too, why I personally don't believe in winning lottery or sweepstakes for myself because God clearly stated how He will bless me. :-)
Have a good night, everyone!

Sunrise at Cocoa Beach, Florida
Today is my last day of my week vacation, and saving the best for last means spending sunrise at Cocoa Beach. The sun rises 7:31 today, and we got there 7:19, just enough time to settle down and prepared my camera on tripod. I just got my new point & shoot Canon Powershot SX410IS 40X zoom, 20 megapixels from my sweet husband as his present on our 7th year anniversary. :-)
I'm still on the stage of learning about my camera and what it can do. I had never been so much interested in camera before other than using pictures on stuff, but on this one, I will try to find out the best it can do. Here are the two best pictures I have this morning. Enjoy!

It is breathtakingly beautiful!
The majesty of God's creation!
Oh, the reward of getting up early!
While my husband was around and about with his "toy", the metal detector, I was just there lying on the beach after I took the pictures. I just wanted to enjoy the late summer morning breeze. My husband and I are so grateful and happy that we decided to move down here in Florida from Michigan, but honestly though, I don't spend a lot of times at the beach. The last time I was on the water was probably a year ago and that was in Playalinda Beach, Titusville, Florida. However, we come here for sunrise coffee, probably once in every 3 months for me.
May you all have a good day. I will try to do more things that are still on my "to-do" list before this day will be over. Thank you for reading. Meanwhile, I would like to leave this Bible verse to you;
"From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised." (Psalm 113:3 KJV)

Start All Over Again
Today is my 5th day of my 1 week vacation. I know most people expected me to be somewhere else because they knew that's what I always want to do... "to see the world", but unfortunately, and humbled by God, I can't afford to go anywhere this time, and so I am forced to stay home and accomplish the things that are on my "to-do-list". Proud to say, I have accomplished few things already, few more things to go... and that leads me here online... I was supposed to move my previous vacation pictures from my laptop to my flash drive, but something on the way that made me want to open my blog... and found out that it was BLOCKED! My blog is not viewable online anymore! I was so scared! Did I finally lost my blog because I didn't open it for a long time? Oh no! I don't want to lost it. It got my timeline from the first few months that I arrived here in the USA. Thankfully, God's spirit leading me (I'm sure) I found the solution and ... here I am!
Let me say this one more time again (I don't know how many times did I say this), please allow me to start all over again. I want to go back into blogging. I want to get back into writing my thoughts, my feelings, my insights and the excitements that has been/is going on in my life. I have tons of them in store. I will try to start as soon as possible... but this is all for now. I need to equally spread my time and attention on a lot of things, but one thing is for sure, blogging will not fall into last of my list because I consider blogging as a form of ministry, too... it should be on high list of my priority, too. By the way, few months before I arrived here in the USA, God revealed to me that I will be writing here in this country... I never did any writing before except for school composition letter which I was very good at... and it was way before I heard anything about blogging, and when I started doing it here, it feels like I found LOVE!
Bye for now, but not for long... I hope. Let me leave you this verse for you to ponder today, this is one of my favorite promise from God to me;
"For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
